Race for the Sun

I had about a million things to do today and ended up running late for one of my first photoshoots, ever. I got a Canon back in December and have been itching to get some experience with my new camera but haven't had much of a chance with all the school assignments and working two jobs now to really set things up.

So, thankfully one of my friends Brittney volunteered herself to be one of my guinea pigs. We almost ran out of sun today and ended up just pulling into a church parking lot to shoot some before the dark set in. I think they turned out rather well considering it's my first time shooting with more than a point and shoot.

I think we're getting together sometime in the near feature to plan something a little more organized rather than a random shoot basically at 5pm. If you'd like to view more of the shoot, please add me as a contact on Flickr.
